Christmas Choral Concert at St. Agnes

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ -- The St. Agnes Catholic Church's 17th annual Christmas choral concert will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 11.
The concert will consist of performances by the St. Agnes adult and children's choirs and the new St. Agnes Men's Community Chorus.
For the 17th consecutive year, the program will be directed by G. Thomas Elliott, the now-retired musical director at Henry Hudson Regional School. Accompaniment will be provided by Corina Pauta, the church's new organist. Joanna Kearney will be the principal soloist.
The public is welcome and admission is free.
Attendees are urged to bring donations for the Atlantic Highlands Food Pantry.
The church is located at the corner of Center Avenue and Avenue C.

Middletown Community Development Program Meeting December 6
MIDDLETOWN, NJ - Do you need a new roof? Worried about an old heating system? Plumbing or electrical problems? Accessibility issues? If you are a Middletown homeowner, you may be eligible for home rehabilitation grant assistance from Middletown’s Community Development Program funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The Community Development Department will be holding a meeting for interested homeowners to find out more about the Program. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 6th, at the Middletown Arts Center, located at 36 Church Street, at 6:00 PM. Applications will be available at the meeting. Grants of up to $25,000 are available to households that meet income limits:
Holiday Bazaar at United Methodist Church in AH

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ - The United Methodist Churches of Atlantic Highlands and Navesink will host an Holiday Bazaar and Luncheon on Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 3rd and Garfield avenues in Atlantic Highlands.
Among the many items available will be a handmade quilt which will be sold in a silent auction.
A luncheon will be held at the church from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. during the Bazaar. Take out service is available.

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ - In celebration of the Library’s 85th anniversary, the Friends of the Atlantic Highlands Library are launching a Sponsor-A-Book campaign.
For a $10 donation your name, or that of a loved one, will appear on a book plate inside the library book. This is a wonderful opportunity to give a unique holiday gift for a friend!
Proceeds from Sponsor-A-Book will be used to narrow the deficit in funds for new library furniture for the new facility.
Visit the Library at 48 Ave C to register your book – or if you like we will select a book in your favorite genre for you.
The Friends of the Atlantic Highlands Library is a registered 501c(3) charitable organization and contributions are tax deductible.
