Easter Bunny Makes Early Visit Atlantic Highlands

The Dougherty youngsters, Piper, Sloane and Beckett, were among the dozens of youngsters in Atlantic Highlands who were thrilled by the Easter Bunny in front of Borough Hall Saturday giving colorful Easter bags filled with candy, bubbles and novelty-filled plastic Easter Eggs to celebrate the season.
Families did a drive-by of the municipal building to watch the Easter Bunny, with the approval of Mayor Loretta Gluckstein, dance, sashay between cars and keep families happy to be out in the sunshine. The visit was sponsored by the borough's Recreation Committee.

The Turner Syndrome Foundation also provides educational resources, supports research, and continues to broaden its reach to patients and caregivers worldwide. TSF is not just an organization, it is a community that provides support and understanding.
Monmouth County has 354 additional positive cases of COVID-19

FREEHOLD, NJ – Monmouth County Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone and County Commissioner Deputy Director Susan M. Kiley have announced that today, March 27, there are 354 new positive cases of COVID-19 in Monmouth County. There is one new death being reported today related to COVID-19 in Monmouth County.
The County Commissioners and the Monmouth County Health Department (MCHD) are strongly urging residents to do their part to slow the spread by practicing social distancing, wearing a face covering when social distancing is not possible, not gathering in large crowds, washing their hands and staying home when sick.
Fire at Holmdel Hobby Lobby

HOLMDEL, NJ - On 3/27/21 at 11:06AM Holmdel PD Dispatch received a report of a fire on the roof of Hobby Lobby, 2101 State Hwy 35. Patrol Officers evacuated the store and the adjoining businesses.
Holmdel FD and several mutual aid agencies responded and extinguished the fire. There were no injuries and the other businesses in the shopping center have since reopened. The Monmouth County Fire Marshall's Office investigated.

Local drivers are seeing a slow decrease at the pump across the region. Growing stock levels have helped to put downward pressure on pump prices, according to the latest weekly report from the Energy Information Administration (EIA). The national average has also decreased despite rising gas demand, last week. If total domestic stocks of gas continue to increase, and demand does not spike, drivers can expect prices to remain stable and decrease through the weekend.
