HIGHLANDS, NJ - Students participating in the D.A.R.E. program at Highlands Elementary School celebrated the culmination of the program last week with a trip June 14, 2011 to New York City aboard a SeaStreak Ferry.

Highlands Police Sgt. Robert Burton, the D.A.R.E. instructor wrote in an e-mail, "the Highlands Elementary School DARE program (took) a trip to NY aboard the Seastreak Ferry at no cost to the school or the police department. This is not the first time that Seastreak has sponsored this trip, but this is the largest class to date."

Mr. James Baker of SeaStreak was presented with a plaque from the Highlands Police Department in appreciation for the continuing support offered by SeaStreak for the community program.
